Red Gum Burl

Current Inventory

Additionally, there are some great Red Gum slabs on the SLABS and TABLE BASES and SMALL-MEDIUM BURL SLABS pages

RG-09 is available

This will make a really great centerpiece bowl like the jarrah piece I turned below

(and a couple of small hollow forms if you cut it first)

RG-17 is available

This will make a spectacular winged bowl (if you buy before I get to turning it) or multiple wall hangings if you want me to have it slabbed

RG-35 is available

Very odd to find a burl this size this deep.  I might consider doing a couple of hollow forms, but my first thought (because the shape, "topography" and depth really intrigue) is to do a deep carving (sort of like the folded bowls some people like to do) and not touch the exterior (except possibly to make a stand)
