10/26 Weather permitting, I'll be photographing Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th. I hope to start posting Tuesday evening and finish Wednesday evening. I will take orders while processing but ask that you understand if I cannot ship until Thursday, 29 October.
10/6 The estimated availability date has shifted to the right a bit as is frequently the case. Current date is 20 October, but with the Westchester Show and NC Symposium back to back, it'll likely be 26 October before I can pick it up and process. For those of you who've already placed pieces on hold, I will ship them as quickly as possible.
9/24 The new shipment is due into Los Angeles 28 September. It will then travel by train to NY and then be trucked down to me here in VA with a current estimated due date of 10 October (though that may well shift to the right a bit). October is very busy or me with the Crafts America Westchester Show the 16th thru 18th and the North Carolina Woodturning Symposium 23-25 OCT. I also have the Washington Craft Show 6-8 NOV. I'll do my best to get everything processed and posted as quickly as possible.
9/7 Check out some new Vasticola Burl, Salmon Gum Burl and Aussie Redwood Burl Blocks posted on the MISCELLANEOUS CUT BLOCKS page and some new Black Ash Burl Blocks on the BLACK ASH BURL CUT BLOCKS page
8/12 Be sure to look at the Coming Soon Page for a sampling of some of what I'll be getting in my next shipment in the fall.

A note about how to best use this site . . . the font I use is Bradley Hand ITC . . . if it appears like Times New Roman on your computer, you likely don't have the font installed (try installing). . . my laptop is a widescreen, so my page size is 1280 x 800 . . . the front and reverse sides of burl caps should appear side by side . . . if not, I recommend changing your screen resolution to best view this site.
HOW TO ORDER . . . Contact me by email jsyvertsen@cox.net or by phone at 757.816.5622 to purchase (or setup a time to visit). VISA/Mastercard and Discover gladly accepted. You may also pay via bank transfer or by PayPal (you do NOT need to be a PayPal member). Of course, I'll also accept cash, or (if I know you) a check.
Lastly, I am the owner of all pictures on this site (and the parent site www.jimsyvertsen.com), or have permission from the owners (Kim Blatt, Cindy Drozda, Harvey Fein, Matthew Hatala, JoHannes Michelsen, Skip Bellock, my Australian suppliers, etc.) to use their images. For those who might feel inclined to "borrow" pictures without my expressed permission, that would be a violation of copyright law. PLEASE DO NOT DO SO.
